A sandwich that has become sensation in the Hudson Valley is about to become even more popular.

Vinnie Lamorte. the owner of Vinny's Deli in Pawling, says that an episode of the Food Network's "Guilty Pleasures" filmed at his business is expected to air in the next few weeks. The episode, which showcases celebrity chefs' favorite foods, features Lamorte's Steak Margareta; a combination of a cheese steak and margareta pizza. The unique sandwich has become a regional favorite, with customers traveling hours just to get a taste.

Vinny and his family also announced that between now and August 27, $1 from every sandwich sold will go to Team Boris' fundraising efforts for Alex's Lemonade Stand. The charity benefits children who are suffering from childhood cancer and is the recipient of the yearly Boris & Robyn Show "Battle of the Stands."

Just to show what a special kind of person Vinny is, he's also decided to match every donation to Team Boris with a personal donation to Team Robyn. So every time someone purchases a Steak Margareta $2 will go directly to the cause.

Lamorte says that customers have been flocking to his business ever since The Boris & Robyn Show revealed the sandwich in January. Some have made pilgrimages over state lines, traveling for hours just to get a bite of this now famous sandwich.

If you haven't tried the Steak Margareta yet, now's the perfect time. Get one before August 27 and you'll be helping out a great cause at the same time.
