Last month we told you about the search for real Hudson Valley families to appear in a series of commercials promoting New York tourism. Here's how they came out.

A series of casting calls were put out, looking for people all over our area to depict families having fun at many of our local landmarks. Some of the production sites included the Storm King Arts Center, Rocking Horse Ranch, Hunter Mountain and Glenmere Mansion in Chester.

On Thursday morning, Governor Cuomo revealed the first two spots that include footage from a few of the local film shoots. Cuomo described the new campaign in a press release saying, "The tourism industry is a critical piece of New York's economy, and this new campaign will attract visitors this summer to explore our state's natural beauty, rich history and world-class recreational activities."

Here's a look at the first two spots:

There will be more commercials released over the next few weeks, most likely including additional footage from our area. The television ads are currently being shown all over New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, western Massachusetts, eastern and central Pennsylvania and Ohio as well as Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. They will continue to air throughout the summer.
