The last time this event occurred in the Hudson Valley it was 1952.

That's about to change as the Hudson Valley Exposition will return to the banks of the Hudson this summer. The event has been described as a 'mini world's fair' and is set to take place Saturday August 1st on the Peekskill waterfront in Riverfront Green Park.

You can expect live music, a wide variety of quality Hudson Valley food, craft beer and wines. Along with activities for the kids, historical re-enactments and there's even a laser light show when the bands wrap up.

Originally the event began as a way to help stimulate the economy, admission was 50 cents for adults and 25 for kids. It ran for 7 years and lay dormant until now as the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce is bringing it back.
