You didn't have to be an apple aficionado to enjoy the offerings at the second annual Hudson Valley Cider Festival on Saturday. The unique cider tasting festival drew hundreds to Barton Orchard in Poughquag.

The event featured samplings from dozens of cideries in the Hudson Valley and beyond. Food vendors including Handsome Devil, Eli’s Fries and the Flying Food Truck, Kona Ice, Hoboken Eddie’s and
Screamin’ Sicilian provided delicious festival fare.

When they weren't sipping the over 50 cider offerings or getting their hands on some perfectly smoked pork, festival attendees squared off in cornhole matches, listened to the live entertainment and took free hayrides with the kids.

The Hudson Valley Cider Festival is put on by Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley, which also hosts the popular Hudson River Craft Beer Festival, the Insane Inflatable 5K and Paddy on the River.
