A recent graduate from Marist College has been invited to try out for the WNBA. Tori Jarosz, star center for the Red Foxes, will attend camp with the Dallas Wings. According to a Marist College press release, Jarosz is just the third player (along with Rachele Fitz and Fifi Camara) in the program's history to earn a tryout with the pros.

Jarosz was one of the most prolific players in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference this season, earning her the MAAC Player Of The Year award. She also won MAAC player of the week honors four times and led the team with 18.8 points per game to go along with 12.1 rebounds and 3 blocks.

In several mock WNBA drafts, Jarosz was projected as a pick in the later rounds but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Jarosz plans to make the most of the opportunity with the Wings:

I am humbled and honored to be invited to the Dallas Wings’ preseason training camp. I’m really looking forward to working hard, having fun, and making the most of this amazing opportunity.

Training camp kicks off on the 24th with the regular season beginning on May 14th.
