How This Small Christmas Purchase Could Be Your Biggest Gift

Hudson Valley Christmas shoppers should look out for this one small item that could wind up being the best gift they give this year.

Christmas is all about creating memories for you and your family. But between battling for a parking space and camping out in those long lines it's easy to forget what all of the craziness is actually for.

This year many Hudson Valley shoppers are reminding themselves of the reason we go through all of this madness by simply picking up an extra gift card.

The Boris & Robyn Show supports the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie, which is an amazing organization that gives a loving and supportive home to children who come from abusive families or other at-risk living situations. We're hoping to collect enough gift cards to give every child there a special and memorable holiday this year.

Practically every store offers gift cards for not only their own products, but for other stores as well. Please consider picking up a gift card that can be used at a local store. It doesn't need to be a large denomination, but should be from somewhere that children or teenagers would love to shop. Because most of the kids at The Children's Home don't do much online shopping, we do ask that you avoid cards from Amazon or other online companies.
