How Long Will the Heat Last For the Hudson Valley?

You wanted summer? Now you've got it.

But the question is; how long will the near record breaking heat last in the Hudson Valley?

Highs Sunday could reach as high as the mid 90s for the area. lows will only be in the mid 60s. Monday will be more of the same, with highs in the low 90s under partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday could mark the third consecutive day the region sees 90 degree weather, which will officially make it a heatwave. Tuesday also brings the bet chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon and ealry evening.

This will give us a break in the weather, as highs Wednesday and Thursday will be in the upper 70s to near 80. Lows will be in the 50s.

Friday will see a chance of rain with highs around 70.
