Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro said:

Dutchess County's 10-year solid waste management plan, Rethinking Waste, outlines the County’s goals of increasing recycling efforts, creating a more sustainable waste system and reducing our impact on the environment. Our Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling events, help us achieve our goals by giving Dutchess County a safe way to dispose unused chemicals and fertilizers, other hazardous household items, and unwanted electronic equipment. I urge residents to take part in these popular collection events and help the County reach its goals

This event provides residents with a safe and responsible way to dispose many different household items that can't be throw out in the regular recycling or garbage bins.
