A domestic disturbance in Brentwood, New Hampshire has lead to the deaths of a 15 year veteran police officer, and the suspect that was in the home. Steve Arkell was shot and killed as he approached the house, after neighbors had called police over a loud disturbance, which was followed by the sound of rapid gunfire coming from the residency.

Another police officer tried to enter the premises but was chased off by more shots. News crews arrived on site and and began filming, as even more emergency crews intervened.

Then, suddenly...the home burst into flames and later exploded on live television. The suspect was presumably killed in the blaze, and has been identified as 47 year old Micheal Nolan. The initial disturbance apparently was between him and his 87 year old father, who was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
