Well, this is very scary.

Syracuse.com is reporting that a home in the Onondaga County town of Camillus exploded Sunday evening.

Neighbors said they had smelled natural gas near the home before hearing a very loud boom that rocked the entire neighborhood. Witnesses say that the front wall of the house fell on to the front yard. The house's drapes were blown all the way across the street into a neighbor's front yard, according to reports.

Glass and electrical wires were also reportedly thrown about all over the vicinity.

One neighbor said an unidentified man wearing only a shirt could be seen stumbling out of the damaged home's garage. The man had been renting the house and said he had been sleeping when the blast happened.

Thankfully, no one else was inside during the explosion.

Firefighters said the man was taken to the hospital where he's being treated for non life-threatening injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
