An Orange County woman is facing felony charges following an investigation. 

An lengthy investigation conducted by state police, in conjunction with the Village of Florida and Town of Warwick Police Departments resulted in the arrest of Debby I. Lowe, age 46, of Newburgh, N.Y.

While employed as a house cleaner she allegedly stole an assortment of jewelry valued in excess of  $1,000.00 from a residence in the Town of Hamptonburgh during the summer of 2017.

Investigation further revealed that some of those valuables were pawned at an area pawn shop.

In the past several months, several other homes, who employ cleaning services,  in the Towns of Warwick and Hamptonburgh have also been subjected to missing valuables from their homes.

The investigation is continuing with additional charges pending. State police request that any other victims contact the state police at  (845) 457-1388 or contact their local police departments with any additional information.

Lowe was charged with Grand Larceny fourth degree. She was issued an appearance ticket.

In addition Ms. Lowe had an outstanding bench warrant from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
