Tired of the cooler than normal weather we've been stuck with the past several days? Some forecasters are saying the summer outlook might change that.

Could this be a real scorcher of a summer for the Hudson Valley and most of the Eastern United States?  Could it be as hot as last year? .

See the NOAA temperature map HERE.

While some long range forecasts all calling for hot weather across the Northeast, some are also saying we won't be seeing the drought like conditions that we experienced last year. What that could mean is that it might be stormier and more humid across the east this year. Humid weather with very high dew points can still make 78 degrees seem miserable especially if you're working outside.

And while the wetter weather may bring some relief during periods of summer heat, a lot of meteorologists are saying we'll see our share of days where it's over 90 degrees.
