Signs at all three Hudson Valley Hoopla Frozen Yogurt locations will soon be taken down.

It was announced yesterday that five Hooplas in the New York area have been acquired by a new company. In addition to the frozen yogurt shops in Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Middletown Hoopla has also sold their New Hartford and Camillus locations.

QSR reports that the stores will immediately be re branded as SweetFrog. With locations in Dallas, Florida and South Carolina, SweetFrog has been expanding their frozen yogurt footprint rapidly throughout the US.

New signage and branding should be complete at all three Hudson Valley stores by the end of May. Because the stores are so similar, there will be no need for extensive remodeling. The shops will stay open as they transform from Hoopla to SweetFrog.

In the meantime, here's a sneak peek at what you can expect from SweetFrog. Spoiler alert: it's exactly the same as Hoopla, except there are two big-eyed frogs named Scoop and Cookie that will most likely freak out young children.
