Holiday Book Sale at Locust Grove This Weekend

The Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District will be holding their annual Holiday Book Sale this weekend, Nov. 18, 19, and 20 at Locust Grove, Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. The hours are 10 am – 8 pm on Friday, and 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Once again there will be a great selection of gift quality books and media for your holiday shopping pleasure. The holidays will be here before you know it, and you won’t want to miss this opportunity to browse and buy gifts for family,friends, and even yourself.  There is no better gift than the gift of a book.  A book can be an escape from everyday life, an adventure for a child, a tool to fire the imagination.  And books never go out of style.
