CJ and I are getting ready to head up to Rhinebeck this weekend for really great cause.

Over the past few months we've formed the coolest friendship with Hilarie Burton who, if you don't know, is a Hudson Valley resident and was on one of my all time favorite TV shows One Tree Hill.

Hilarie and her husband, Walking Dead's Jeffery Dean Morgan, have been using their celebrity status to help those right in our own community.

This weekend they will be hosting the second annual "Ghost Stories" event to raise money for the Astor Home for Children and Families in Rhinebeck. They'll have students from Astor, plus special guest, reading spooky stories. She gave one of our sister stations an update about the event.

They'll also be hosting a silent auction with donations from all over, including awesome memorabilia from The Walking Dead set.

Unfortunately it looks like the event has sold out, but if you still would like to participate in the auction you can do so online or from your phone.
