Police are still on the lookout for a driver that took officers on a high-speed chase through the Hudson Valley early Monday morning.

The Times Herald Record reports that police were on a call Monday morning that resulted in a driver fleeing the scene. Police took chase on Route 32 in Ulster County just below Kingston through Rosendale.

According to police radio chatter, the pursuit resulted in speeds over 100MPH.  The driver sped on to Route 213 towards New Paltz when the chase was called off because of the high rate of speed, which could have presented a danger to the officers involved and innocent bystanders.

An investigation is ongoing, although the Ulster County Sheriff's department has not released a description of the driver or the vehicle.
