The star of "Rehab Addict" is still shaken after being targeted in a carjacking attempt this week.

Nicole Curtis posted details of the robbery on Facebook this morning, claiming that a bag containing her laptop was stolen as the thief sped off in a black SUV. Viewers of HGTV know Curtis as the sassy, no nonsense host of "Rehab Addict". The home improvement show documents Curtis as she renovates old homes, mostly in Detroit.

Some of the houses showcased on "Rehab Addict" aren't necessarily in the best neighborhoods. Vandalism and graffiti have been found in her properties and sometimes copper pipes and even wooden floorboards have been stolen from the homes.

Curtis says she was getting into her car when one of the passengers from a SUV jumped into her driver's seat and started looking for the keys. When they realized there were no keys in the car they grabbed a bag containing a laptop and fled the scene. Curtis says she called 911 and the police are now handling the matter.

Curtis ended her post with a warning for others, and gratitude to her fans. She writes "be safe... be aware. And thank you for all the emails, texts, phone calls of concern."
