Hershey's is changing forever. Are you on board with the iconic chocolate maker tweaking its recipe?

The Pennsylvania-based chocolate maker will no longer be using certain items in their milk chocolate.

In a world where customers are now demanding healthier ingredients, Hershey's is making a bold move by announcing a change in many of their products. The Post-Gazette reports that the Pennsylvania-based chocolate maker will no longer be using certain items in their milk chocolate.

One signifiant change will be that from now on, Hershey’s Kisses and milk chocolate bars will be made with real vanilla instead of an artificial flavor. Vanillin will now disappear from ingredients lists. In its place will be the term "natural flavor." In addition, Hershey's will remove lactose and PGPR from their products. PGPR is an additive that makes the chocolate flow better during the manufacturing process. Instead, the chocolate will contain more natural cocoa butter to produce the same results.

Items made with the new recipe may already be on store shelves. The company says they started shipping them out a few weeks ago.
