January has already been a great month for getting free food, and it's only getting better. Auntie Anne's has a free pretzel waiting for you, and all you have to do is download their new app.

A few days ago we told you how Taco Bell was encouraging customers to use their mobile app by giving away a free tacos for the entire month of January. Taking a page from the same book, the mall storefront that always seems to have a line of hungry fans waiting to gobble up those warm, twisty pretzels is jumping on the free food bandwagon.

Just download Auntie Anne's "Pretzel Perks" app and you'll get your free pretzel within 24 hours. Not a bad deal considering the app costs nothing and also lets you collect points for future free pretzels.

Here's hoping this free food trend continues for the rest of January.  Because, like I always say; there's no food that tastes better than free food!
