A dining hall located in the Hudson Valley has been named one of the best in the nation, have you eaten there?

Spoon University recently ranked the 36 best dining halls in the country, and according to USA Today, Marist College made the prestigious list at number 13. For those who's last Marist meal was before the new dining hall was constructed, you might be scratching your head at the college's placement on the list. Those who've experienced the impressive architecture that students now enjoy their meals in, however, shouldn't be surprised.

Marist's dining environment is like taking a trip to Hogwart's Great Hall.

Spoon University describes Marist's dining environment like taking a trip to the fictional school of Harry Potter, comparing the dining hall to Hogwart's Great Hall.  Fresh made sushi, rotisserie chicken, yankee pot roast and chocolate banana bread pudding are a far cry from the salami and mustard sandwiches this Marist alum remembers from the 90s.

Colleges making the top five are Boston University, Brandeis, Bucknell, Columbia and Cornell. If you're considering which college to attend in the Fall, you might want to check out all of the 36 schools that made the list. Because, you know, being able to score a well made tuna roll can sometimes be even more important than having a good Science Department.
