Happy Birthday Nikki Sixx

Happy Birthday to Nikki Sixx. The bassist and co founder of Motley Crue is 55 today.  One of my favorites, I've seen Motley Crue live many times over the years. There's been a lot of talk about retirement coming from the band as of late, with Vince Neil stating in a recent interview that he will "carry the torch" for Motley Crue with his solo band after Motley Crue retire. There's also been talk about a movie based on the Crue autobiography "The Dirt" for years. The latest on the film is that Motley Crue have hired Jackass director Jeff Tremaine to work on the film. Tremaine directed the Jackass series for MTV since it's 2000 debut, and most recently the movie Bad Grandpa. No further details on the project are currently available.
