This Saturday, May 28, you have a chance to enjoy a beautiful view, make new friends, and help make a difference.  This Saturday, The Down Syndrome Association of The Hudson Valley presents Hands Over The Hudson on The Walkway Over The Hudson. The Down Syndrome Association's goal is to bring awareness to our similarities not our differences.

Registration tables and vendors will be set up at both entrances onto the bridge. The festivities will start at 1pm, on both the Highland and the Poughkeepsie side of the Hudson River. By 2pm the  plan is to hold hands and see how far we have made it across the bridge. The bridge is 6,768 feet long, so let your  your family and friends know about this event so we can make it all the way across.

Afterwards there will be a Party at the Pavilion just by the elevator on the Poughkeepsie side by the Children’s Museum.  There will be music, games, arts and crafts, and more.  It will be a fun day for a very important cause.  For more information about Hands Over The Hudson, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1580943452218942/
