A 22 year-old Maine man was arrested Friday after crashing a stolen vehicle into a row of  trees. According to the Bangor Daily news, this concluded an hours long search for the suspect after he allegedly stole a Ford Explorer police cruiser in the town of Dexter, Maine.

Thing is, he was handcuffed when he stole cruiser. Police said they found the cruiser early Friday afternoon.

So what does our handcuffed suspect decide to do from there? He steals another vehicle.

Local police then saw the man driving another stolen vehicle  which lead to a high speed chase through several small towns. The chase lead the crash in the town of Corinth.

Bangor Daily says the suspect was seriously injured in the crash and then flown to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

No word on how the man managed to steal two vehicles while still handcuffed.
