Authorities took down a Hudson Valley heroin and oxycodone ring with 14 guilty pleas this week. The defendants plead guilty in a White Plains court on Tuesday for conspiring to distribute more than $1 million in heroin and oxycodone.

The Daily Voice reports the ring, led by Victor Esteban of Pomona, would often blatantly distribute in public places like the Palisades Mall. The group acquired the more than 50,000 pills through fraudulent means with runners who would fill fake prescriptions all over New York state.

We can be thankful several of the defendants are idiots, they boasted on their Twitter and Instagram pages about selling the drugs. They referred to themselves as the 'TMC' or 'Too Much Cash'. How's that hashtag working out for them now?

Defendants hail from Newburgh all the way to New York City. The investigation was led by the DEA's Tactical Diversion Squad featuring DEA officers, NY State Police, Orangetown Police and Westchester County police officers. The Rockland County District Attorney's Office and I.R.S. were also involved.
