If you were thinking of traveling to the Jersey shore this summer then you might want to take extra precaution where you're swimming. This footage, was taken by fishermen, off the New Jersey coast, of a 16 foot great white shark seen swimming right up to the boat. Steve Clark was out fishing for mako sharks when the great white, whom he estimated at weighing about a ton, swam near the 35 foot boat and decided to help itself to the bait the fishermen were using. It reportedly circled the boat for about another 20 minutes, and even was seen gnawing on the outboard motor, before swimming away. While great whites can certainly the terrify the public, they mainly stay far enough off shore not to be a risk.
