There are some great shows coming to the area to look forward to this winter.  Which is really nice because there is not much else to look forward to in the winter if you are like me, someone who hates the cold and snow.

First of all, Levon Helm's Barn in Woodstock will be rocking in the New Year with Amy Helm and The Handsome Strangers on Dec.31.  On Jan.2, it's a benefit for Woodstock Day School with Paul Green's Tribute to Elton John.  The Weight does their great tribute to The Band on Jan.23, and The Lone Bellow will be there Feb.27.  http://www.levonhelm.com/index1.htm

Sugarloaf Performing Arts center has not disappointed with their great line up of shows.  This Sunday, it's An Evening With Todd Rundgren, and I hear he'll be doing all your favorites.  Darlene Love is coming to Sugarloaf on Feb. 6, and Justin Hayward from The Moody Blues will be there on May 14.  http://www.sugarloafpac.org/

UPAC in Kingston welcome Joe Bonamassa acoustic on Jan.19 and Los Lobos March 12.  Plus, both UPAC and The Bardavon will be featuring some great classic movies on the big screens.  http://www.bardavon.org/

Enjoy the winter, at least there are some great shows coming.
