Angelika Graswald claims in a jailhouse interview that she is being wrongfully accused of murder because of diary entries that describe rough sex and threesomes with her deceased fiancee.

In an exclusive interview with News 12 in Westchester as reported by the Associate Press, Graswald says that police believe she tampered with Vincent Viafore's kayak on the fateful night he went missing. On April 19th she was found in the water claiming that she was unable to save Vitafore after they both fell out of their kayaks, however authorities say inconsistencies in her story led to her arrest for murder.

There were three instances where she wrote of wishing Viafore would die.

During the interview Graswald claims that she is being falsely accused by police because they misinterpreted old entries in her personal diary where she wished for Viafore's death. She says that there were three instances where she wrote of wishing Viafore would die because he was pressuring her to engage in rough sex. Graswald claims that she was also angry because Viafore asked her to engage in threesomes.

Viafore's former wife, Suzanne Viafore, told the Associated Press that he was a "great man" adding

I was married to him for 14 years. I was with him for 18 years... I knew him. I knew his character.

Police have still not commented on the evidence against Graswald. She is currently being held in jail with no bail and is due in court on Tuesday.
