NJ Governor Chris Christie has never been one to back down from confrontation. This was certainly evident yesterday, as the Governor had some strong words for a heckler in Belmar, NJ. Christie was on tour across the state, speaking in areas hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy. The heckler repeatedly interrupted Christie's speech, criticizing the Governor's recovery efforts after Sandy hit. The Governoror shot back, and eventually told the man to "Sit down and shut up", after a heated exchange. The heckler is Jim Keady, a former Asbury Park Councilman who founded a group made up of frustrated homeowners...many of which displaced after the storm, are demanding Christie's administration do more to help effected families get back on their feet. Gov Christies told residents that $1 billion in federal housing assistance is on it's way. He says those eligible for reconstruction grants should get awards by next Spring.
