Google Thinks The Hudson Valley is WHAT?

Type the name of any Hudson Valley town into Google and you may be surprised by what the rest of the world thinks of us.  A search for  "Poughkeepsie Is..." is automatically completed by Google with the most commonly asked questions:

Apparently, the biggest inquiry about Poughkeepsie is why it's so "ghetto".  Also, there seems to be a lot of people who wonder whether the Queen City is actually fact or fiction.

Turning to Newburgh, a simple search of "Why is Newburgh so..." leads to these disturbing questions about personal safety:

Finally,Google may be our first warning that the hipsters have truly started their takeover of our entire listening area.  Searching for "The Hudson Valley is..." brings up this terrifying result:

I guess it's just a matter of time before we start growing beards and wearing ironic t-shirts.

Searches for other Hudson Valley towns proved a little harder, since there are so many Kingstons, Middletowns and Beacons in other parts of the world.
