This doesn't come as a surprise.

The New York Giants' disastrous season took an even more dramatic turn Monday when the team announced that have terminated both head coach Ben McAdoo as well as General Manager Jerry Reese.

McAdoo lasted less than two seasons. Right now, the team that was picked to finish at or near the top of the NFC East is 2-10. This was also coming after the ill advised benching of long time quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning. The NY Daily News says that Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will serve as interim head coach. Assistant GM Kevin Abrams will step in to fill Reese's spot.

A lot of factors have played into this season for the G-Men, such as injuries, a lack of help from the offensive line, and pretty piss poor relationship between Coach McAdoo and his players. Manning's benching caused a lot of backlash and outcry from fans, and teammates - both current, as well as past.

The 2-10 Giants face the Cowboys this Sunday at MetLife Stadium at 1 p.m.
