The Giants defense, plus some questionable calls from Eagles coach Doug Pederson also may have helped save the New York Sunday

It almost didn't out so well for New York.

Quarterback Eli Manning threw an interception with less than two minutes left to give the Eagles a chance to steal this one. Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz was unable to convert to any of his receivers.

The Giants were able to escape with a 28-23 win over Philadelphia at MetLife Stadium. They move to 5-3 for the season.

Eli Manning threw four touchdowns on the day, including a 26 yard touchdown to Odell Beckham Jr.

The win is very important as it keeps the Giants in the playoff race.

Their next game will be a Monday Night Football matchup November 14, as they host the Cincinnati Bengals.
