A defendant known as a member of the “Sex, Money, Murder” gang was convicted in Ulster County Court after he fired seven shots at a woman in Kingston.

Following a three day trial in Ulster County Court, 22-year-old Riis Silver, AKA “Flea”, of Brooklyn, was found guilty of two counts of 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon and 1st-degree reckless endangerment

According to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, on October 26, 2014 Silver shot an illegal .40 caliber handgun at woman at the corner of Cedar Street and Prospect Street, in the City of Kingston. Silver fired seven shots, hitting the woman’s vehicle in the fender, hood, and windshield.

Police say Silver fled the scene and was later arrested for drug and illegal gun charges in Delaware. He pled guilty in July of 2015 for dealing heroin in Delaware. He has been serving a four year sentence before being transported to New York for his charges in Kingston.

Silver faces up to fifteen years in state prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 8th.
