Fundraiser To Benefit Fallen 9/11 Firefighter’s Hudson Valley Memorial

FDNY Firefighter Kenneth Kumpel was a resident of the Hudson Valley who tragically lost his life on 9/11. His family and friends are coming together to raise funds for his memorial on Saturday April 25th.

The goal is to raise funds for the creation of a monument in Cornwall to honor Kenneth's memory. They're hoping to have it complete in time for the 2015 September 11th observance.

You can help by joining them at Anthony's Pier 9 in New Windsor for an evening cocktail benefit. The event takes place April 25th from 7-10 pm. The cost is $100.00 per ticket and includes open bar.

According to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Kenneth Kumpel was a member of Ladder 25 and was a 10 year FDNY veteran and former police officer.
