If you liked Saturday's wintery weather then you'll probably be happy for what's on the way.

Looks like the coldest weather yet is on the way.

Meteorologists say this week will be brutally cold, windy, and snowy. Highs Monday will be in the 30s with increasing clouds. Lows will be in the 20s with a chance of more snow. Tuesday will bring a wintery mix, with sleet in some areas and maybe an additional couple of inches of snow in other parts.

Once the snow is gone, then it's going to get really, really cold. Highs Wednesday and Thursday will only be in the 20s with windy conditions. Winds could gust over 30 m.p.h. so this will plunge the wind chills down near zero degrees.

Lows Thursday night will be in the single digits.

Friday and Saturday will be slightly warmer with highs back up in the 30s under partly cloudy skies. Bundle up!
