Happy Birthday today (Oct. 30) to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. He's 50. Other rockers celebrating today include singer Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship) who turns 76, drummer Chris Slade (AC/DC, The Firm) is 69, bassist Timothy B Schmit of the Eagles is 68.

Gavin Rossdale is known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Bush. The band formed out of London in 1992 and had immediate success with the release of their debut album 'Sixteen Stone', which was certified 6 times multi-platinum by the RIAA. Bush became one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990's selling over 10 million albums in the U.S.

Other successful albums included 'Razorblade Suitcase' in 1996 and 'The Science of Things' in 1999. Bush disbanded in 2002 and eventually reunited in 2010. For more on Bush, check out the band's official website here.
