Friday. November 20: Happy Birthday Joe Walsh

Happy Birthday to Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh. He’s 68. Walsh was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles in 1998. He also placed at number 54 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” in 2011.

Walsh played the Mid Hudson Civic Center back in September as part of a fall tour that he announced in a press release. The show at was great and some highlights for me included "Rocky Mountain Way" and In the City" among others. Walsh performed hits from throughout his storied career, including the James Gang, Barnstorm, the Eagles and his solo records through to 2012's Analog Man. The tour reunited Walsh with Barnstorm keyboardist and drummer Joe Vitale. Other band members on the tour included Gannin Arnold on guitar, Tommy Simms on bass and Drew Hester on drums.
