Happy Birthday today (March 6.) to David Gilmour. The Pink Floyd singer, guitarist is 69. Pink Floyd is estimated to have sold over 250 million records worldwide.

The latest Pink Floyd album, 'The Endless River' was released in the U.S. on Nov. 10 of last year.  Gilmour stated that it would be Pink Floyd's last album. 'The Endless River' was the band's first album since the passing of keyboardist and founder Richard Wright and the third by the David Gilmour-led Pink Floyd following the departure of Roger Waters. Waters left the band in 1985.
