Friday, March 20: Happy Birthday Carl Palmer

Happy Birthday to Carl Palmer who turns 65 today (March 20). This guy is in my opinion, one of the greatest drummers ever. Palmer is one of the most respected rock drummers to come out of the 60's, and is most known for his work with Emerson, Lake & Palmer along with supergroup Asia.

Palmer ranks in the top 10 of Rolling Stone's list of 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time and he was one of the first drummers to be inducted into Modern Drummer magazine's Hall of Fame.
