Friday, Feb. 20: Remembering Kurt Cobain on His Birthday

Today (Feb. 20) we remember Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Today would have been his 48th birthday. Cobain took his life back in April of 1994 at the age of 27.

Last year, Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Dave Grohl and Courtney Love accepting the honors. Nirvana found major success with the release of their second album 'Nevermind' in 1991, and all the kids in junior high started wearing flannel.
