The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for most areas of the Hudson Valley effective early Friday morning.

Temperatures are expected to dip below 30 degrees in the lower Hudson Valley tonight between 2am and 9am. Orange, Pugnam, Rockland and Westchester County are all included in the Freeze Warning issued by the National Weather Service, as well as surrounding areas in Connecticut and New Jersey.

A freeze warning means that sensitive plants can be killed if left out in the elements. Residents should bring them indoors, or cover flowering bushes and shrubs to protect them from damage.
