Free Show with Professor Louie & The Crowmatix at Darkside Records

If you love rock and roll and Americana, then make plans to be at Darkside Records on Dutchess Turnpike in Poughkeepsie this Saturday night, April 30. You will be able to catch a free show with one of the Hudson Valley's best bands. I am talking about my old friends Professor Louie & The Crowmatix.

The group came into existence preparing songs for Aaron Professor Louie Hurwitz’s studio productions for The Band.  Yes, The Band. Also for solo projects for both Rick Danko and Garth Hudson. When The Band dissolved in 2000, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix started touring and recording their own music. They have six studio CD’s and two live recordings. I got to know Professor Louie and the rest of the band years ago. I am a big fan of them both professionally and personally.
