Former NY Gov. George Pataki To Announce Presidential Bid

Former New York Gov. George Pataki is adding his name to the list of Republicans running for their party's 2016 presidential nomination.

NPR reports that Pataki is expected to make a formal announcement at an 11 a.m. ET event in New Hampshire. This will be Pataki's first run for president. Pataki is the former mayor of his hometown Peekskill. He then later moved to the state legislature before serving as New York's governor from 1995 to 2006.
