A Hudson Valley property that was once home to a post office, then a Jack-in-the-Box and most recently a Planet Wings will now see new life as the area's newest doughnut shop.

Dunkin Donuts will take the place of the Planet Wings in midtown Kingston that closed just last month. Plans have already been proposed to put the D & D on the piece of property on Broadway where Planet Wings was. According to the Daily Freeman, the existing building will be demolished to make way for a new 1,300 square foot structure.

The Freeman reports the company proposing the new shop is no stranger to running D & D's, they've been in business in the Hudson Valley for 13 years. The proposal is expected to be considered at the next meeting of the Kingston Planning Board on April 10.

Did you catch this Dunkin Donuts bit from December? Funny stuff.
