One the pillars of a good relationship is trust. This might be a case where that trust is lost forever. You probably heard about Middletown man James Rhein bulldozing the house he and his wife, Diane Andryshak, shared on Woodland Avenue yesterday. The independent contractor rented an excavator and completely demolished the 900 square foot ranch home, and everything in it...including his wife's personal belongings. His wife and neighbors have absolutely no idea why he did it.

Some neighbors claim the home needed renovations, and the couple had been staying somewhere else for the past two weeks. Still, Andryshak remains distraught over losing everything, including many family belongings that can not be replaced. Rhein remains flippant, saying "We’re married. It’s a community asset." Neighbors expressed concerned that Rhein not only failed to file for any demolition permits, but also didn't notify utilities.
