Felony Charges For Hudson Valley Woman Found Drunk At Chipotle

Chipotle is so delicious that a Hudson Valley woman allegedly drove to one over three-times the legal limit of intoxication.

On Monday around 6 p.m., the Ulster Police Department responded to a 911 call for a welfare check of a female who was in her car that was parked at the Chipotle Mexican Grill.

An investigation revealed that 39-year-old Laura May Kelly of Kingston was operating her motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, police say.

Kelly was taken into custody and transported to the Ulster Police Department for processing. After a chemical test, she was allegedly found to be driving over three times the legal limit of intoxication.

Kelly was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony.

She was processed and released to a third party to appear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date to answer the charges.
