You never know who's handling your food.

A video of a Checkers & Rally's fast food employee wiping a bun across a dirty kitchen floor and then using it to make a sandwich has gone viral. The video, was allegedly filmed at a Baltimore-area location sometime last month, according to the NY Daily News. It was posted online Tuesday and has taken the internet by storm.

If you watch the video you'll witness the unidentified employee drop the bun on the ground and then rub it on the floor. Checkers officials have insisted that the sandwich was never actually served. The workers involved in the clip however are no longer employed at the Baltimore fast food estbalishment, the chain said in a statement Wednesday.

Lori Malcolm, Checkers’ senior vice president for human resources said in a video statement.

I, like you, am appalled and disappointed by what I saw in that video. We spoke to the employee in the video and her mother, and the employee is very sorry and embarrassed about what happened.
