Now I don't know if it's the most wonderful time of the year, but it sure is the prettiest.

As of September 22nd at 9:54pm it is officially fall here in the Hudson Valley. Before we know it there will be a chill in the air and the leaves will go from cheery green to vibrant reds, shining yellows and glowing orange.

A few weeks ago the official fall foliage prediction came out saying that the Hudson Valley will see a change in the leaves around the second and third week of October.

If you'd like to keep tabs on all the changes ILoveNY.Com will keep you updated weekly with what their "leaf spotters" are reporting.

For this weekend if you're looking for any foliage change this weekend in the Hudson Valley, you're going to have to drive much further out of town to catch a glimpse. In the Adirondacks, by Lake Placid, is at about mid point in their foliage according to the map below.

As of right now the spotters are reporting that in Columbia County there is a "15 percent color change with hints of yellow, gold and orange peeking through."

Have you seen any changes yet?
