Facebook Will Let You Rank Your Most Trusted Sources For News

You may have noticed a lot less news and business pages showing up on your Facebook feed, and more pics of your friend's latest meal.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that the social media site with over two billion users, is scaling back on news and veering the page more towards friends and family.

There's a number of reasons for this, but one thing Facebook wanted to stop was spread of bogus or false sources of information (or, as some refer to it as; Fake News).

Now, Zuckerberg wants Facebook users to rank their most trusted sources for news. This could help separate trusted news and media sources from false websites spreading fake propaganda.

Pretty simple. pages with high scores will see more traffic, while ons with low scores will fall.
