Did you ever find yourself wondering about... wait for it... mushrooms? There is a lot to wonder about. What mushrooms are okay to eat? Which are poisonous? What kind of mushrooms grow here in the Hudson Valley?

You get the answers to all these questions and more this Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall as they present "The Fungus Among Us". The presentation will discuss and explain the basics of fungi and their importance in our local forests, as well as an entry level introduction into safe mushroom foraging. The program will be held at the museum's Outdoor Recovery Center at 120 Muser Drive starting at 10 am.

Admission for museum members is $5 for adults and $3 for children. For not yet members admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children. To get more information about "The Fungus Among Us" and other programs at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum, or to become a member visit their website.
