The Wa Wa Wally Waddle 5K Walk/Run and free kids races will take place on Sunday May 11 at Vassar Farm in Poughkeepsie. The kids races begin at 9:30 and 5K at 10:00. The Waddle features loads of free family fun with a 100 meter race, 1 mile race, games, balloon animals, and face painting for kids. Registration for the 5K is $15 before May 10th and $20 on race day. Age group winners will receive fresh-baked pies and additional pies will be raffled off to participants. The event is a scholarship fundraiser to help send local children to YMCA Camp Wa Wa Segowea in the Berkshires.
